Yesterday’s three picks yielded a positive for us.

A total point win of 0.94 with the Marlins and the Scottish football teams delivering.

We are now at a positive point earning of 0.45.

For today, we are focusing for now on the MLB games to be played in a few hours time:

The Twins and Mets face off to a day game, where the New York starter, Jason Vargas has had an ERA of 4.08, and while pitching away, he’s given up around 5.10 earned runs per nine innings. The Twins are going with Martin Perez, who is 8-3 on the year, but 2-2 in Day Games. He has an ERA of 4.61 during the day and has struggled during June and July.

First Pick: Total runs over 10.5 at -116

Then, we head to the Pittsburgh Pirates visiting the St Louis Cardinals. The Pirates will not be having Josh Bell for the game, which does not help their hitting cause, but they are facing Daniel Ponce de León, who had been playing well and just pitched his longest game of the year five days ago.
The last time he pitched 6 innings, he had a ten days rest and allowed 4 earned runs against the Padres.

Second Pick: Pittsburgh Pirates over 3.5 runs at -135

The Atlanta Braves and Milwaukee Brewers will face off at Milwaukee and Dallas Keuchel will be pitching for Atlanta. He is yet to completely settle into the season, but his team’s fire power should really help his cause.
Keuchel has an ERA of 3.57 on away games, but 2.45 on day games. He is facing Milwaukee’s Chase Anderson who is 4-2 for the year, 3-2 at home and 1-0 on day games. Anderson has a 4.43 ERA at home and a 3.68 ERA on day games.

Pick: ATL to win at +106
Second Pick: Over 9.5 runs

Lastly, the Seattle Mariners were not able to produce runs yesterday even though they had a favorable matchup; instead, going down hard by a 9-2 loss.

Today, I expect them to put up runs. They are playing at noon against Homer Bailey, who recently joined the A’s, and has a 7-6 record on the year.
Bailey has a 5.44 ERA on day games and I’m also going to take the away games ERA of 5.60, because although he will be pitching at home, I don’t expect him to feel at home just yet as a new arrival.

The Mariners will have Erik Swanson pitching who is 1-5 on the year and 1-2 on away games. His ERA is of 4.50 during day games and 6.38 on away games. Expect quite a bit of runs during this game.

Pick: Over 9.5 runs at -130
Pick 2: Seattle Mariners over 4.5 runs at +104
