This Monday 25th of May, the Armenian Premier League brings us a match between the 6th (Ararat) and 8th place (Urartu) of the competition.
Taking into account all of their Premier League matches, the last defeat for Urartu away from home, came on September 17th, last year, while the last home win for Ararat came on October 27th.
Pundits favor Ararat heavily for this game, as they are favorites by a mile in bet365, but I really find some other things we should be interested in:
First Half Asian Handicap (Urartu 0.0, +0.5 at 2.05) and/or First Team to score (Urartu at 3.40)
Urartu has scored 47.4% of its goals during the first half of matches, coming in on average during the 33rd minute of play. They haven’t been a good first half defense though, receiving their first goal on average during the 30th minute of play.
On the other hand, Ararat have received their first goal of the match on average when at home during the 29th minute of play. They have managed to score only 16.7% of their goals during the first half, which gives Urartu an edge on this play.
Asian Handicap (Urartu +1.0 at 1.85)
I am also tipping Urartu +1 on the Asian Handicap market, as I truly believe they will actually take the match (for those wondering, they are at 5.00 to win the match), but just to have a safer play, I will go with the +1 AH as that actually secures a refund if by any chance, they fall behind and end up losing by one goal. The last time Ararat won against Urartu, was at home on the 28th of April 2018.
