This Friday we get the pleasure of enjoying Hertha Berlin vs Union Berlin. Both teams are at the middle of the table, seven and eight points dangerously close from the relegation spots.
Life has not been easy for both Berlin teams throughout the season, and tonight should be no different. Hertha Berlin has been allowing a whooping 2.15 goals against when playing at home this season. They have conceded their first goal when playing at home on average before the 26th minute.
It hasn’t been to different for Union Berlin when playing away this year, as they have conceded 1.92 goals when not at home, and have normally been behind when entering the 39th minute of the match (their average first goal has come at around the 47th minute).
If we only look at the average conceded goals for these teams, we’ll find ourselves with an easy Over 3.5, but we all know it’s not that simple. If we sum up what these teams have been scoring when playing home and away respectively, we get a mere 2.16 goals average.
After taking a look at the options for all of this analysis, I find some very big prices on picks that should be highlighted (I would recommend any of them):
Hertha Berlin’s first goal to come before the 49th minute at 1.83
Union Berlin’s first goal to come before the 56th minute at 1.83
Over 1.5 First Half goals at 2.75
Over 2.5 Total Goals at 1.90
Hertha Berlin to score in the first half at 2.00
Union Berlin to score in the first half at 2.20
Not to mention, the superb price of 3.20 for an Over 3.5 goals in the match.
Here’s my recommendation, if you want to play it safe:
1 unit on Union Berlin’s first goal to come before the 56th minute at 1.83
1 unit on Over 2.5 goals at 1.90
If you want to play if a little bit riskier:
1 unit on Union Berlin to score in the first half at 2.00
1 unit on Over 1.5 goals in the first half at 2.75
And the riskiest one of all:
1 unit on Both teams to score in the first half at 4.33
1 unit on Over 3.5 goals at 3.20
I truly believe that there are some great prices on picks that are possible during this game, and you should take advantage of some of them.
