The Championship gets to a start tonight with a matchup between newly ascended Luton Town and Middlesbrough paying them a visit.
Luton had a mean record last year at home, while securing a spot in the Championship with ease. It was almost a clear pick for them to win at home every time they played and goals seemed to follow each and every time.
Middlesbrough scored normally when visiting last year, and they have been scoring during the preseason. They just came from a preseason match against French side Saint Etienne, where they drew a 1-1 result in their final preparation match.
I am backing both teams to score during this match. Luton normally score a goal at home, and the fact that they are just joining the Championship, at home, will spur them on. Middlesbrough on the other side, are a good side scoring away from home, and will try to take advantage of the newly ascended club and at least bag one or two to their cause.
